About NDIS Support Coordinators in Australia
A support coordinator helps you understand and use your NDIS plan: finding and booking providers, setting up service agreements, solving problems when supports are not working and preparing for your plan reassessment. Support coordination is funded from the Capacity Building – Support Coordination budget when it is included in your plan.
Before you choose a provider, check whether they are registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, ask about wait times and whether they can visit you at home, and confirm which support items they will claim. You can compare their rates against the current price limits in our free NDIS Price Guide.
If your NDIS plan is agency-managed (NDIA-managed), you must use registered providers. If your plan is self-managed or plan-managed, you can also use unregistered providers, as long as the support is in your plan.
